My daughter Niamh and I live just a few miles away and can help you with any questions.
Our on-site innkeeper provides warm and personalized service, has many years of experience, and is an amazing resource. Check-in: 3 PM, Check-out: 11 AM. Self-check-in available.
Payment
A deposit equal to your first night's stay is charged when you book. The remaining balance is charged automatically to your card on file 6 days before arrival. Rates include daily breakfast and are based on double occupancy. A 12% City of Trinidad Transient Occupancy Tax is added. Receipts are emailed automatically.
Cancellation
• More than 14 days before arrival: cancel free — your deposit is refunded in full.
• 7–13 days before arrival: 50% of your deposit is refunded; nothing further is charged.
• Within 7 days of arrival, or no-show: the full stay is non-refundable.
Booked through Airbnb, Booking.com, or Expedia? Your payment and cancellation terms are governed by that platform.
To cancel, call or text 707-677-0840 or email info@lookouttrinidadbay.com. A cancellation is not final until we confirm it by email — a text or voicemail alone does not cancel your reservation.
Occupancy
2 guests per room max. No extra beds or guests.
Wi-Fi
High-speed internet available in all rooms.
Breakfast
A delicious gourmet breakfast is served each morning at 8:30 AM in the dining room.
Parking
Free on-site, one space per room.
Smoking
Prohibited inside and on property grounds.
Dogs Welcome
Your small or medium-sized, well-behaved dog is welcome in certain rooms.
Pet fee: $75 per dog per night

Power Outages
Because we are on the Northern California coast, occasionally in the winter we get power outages. Flashlights and lanterns will be provided. Guests will be kept informed when the power is expected to be restored. There will be no refunds or credits for power outages that affect our village.

Yes, an amazing dog-friendly beach, Trinidad State Beach is within a 5-minute walk.
